CROSS Affiliated Professor Jose Renau receives Google Faculty Research Award

Professor Jose Renau, advisor on the CROSS funded  “Live Hardware Development (LiveHD): A productive infrastructure for Synthesis and Simulation” was recently awarded a Google Faculty Research Award.  As part of this award, Prof. Renau will be able to partner with Google’s researchers, as well as receiving funding for his research and to support additional graduate students. Prof Renau’s Google Award will fund the development of a language-neutral interface to the open source hardware infrastructure and its capacity to handle new hardware languages like Pyrope.
