As part of CROSS's sponsorship of the CruzHacks 2022, which took place January 14-16, we supported a challenge that asked teams to build a hack that leveraged two open source projects in the most innovative and impactful way.

The winner of the CROSS sponsored award was the bewithdoggy team whic created an integrated hardware system that allows an autonomous RC car to follow dogs around at a dog park. The team built the autonomous car using the Python implementation of the open source OpenCV library and open source SSH/related protocols library Parakmiko.

Congratulations to the bewithdoggy team for their great project!
